UPDATE: Ken Madden tells me that about Euro 5,000 was raised from this auction. He said that "the weather hit the event massively with no real day trippers to Lismore on Saturday....however various people have called to say they will be making a donaton during the week which is very nice of them. Either way a great success - and the St. V de P are delighted."
"Food Framed" is a silent auction of handwritten recipes created by food writers and chefs (some internationally famous). It will take place in Lismore Castle, Co. Waterford this coming Saturday 4th December from 11am - 4pm and all proceeds will go to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul. If you cannot make it to Waterford then absentee bids are being accepted by Ken Madden (see below) so you can bid from home.
There will be items from Ferran Adria (a signed personal kitchen menu & document promoting El Bulli from the 1960s), Ken Hom, Guy Savoy, Pierre Gagnaire, Anton Edelmann, Paolo Tullio, Darina Allen, Gary Rhodes, Tom Doorley, Thomas Keller, Paul Flynn and more.
Ken Madden is organising this charity auction and if you email or phone him, he will take your absentee bid. firstname.lastname@example.org or 0861712813. Good luck.
